Effective July 1, 2017, two Marion County CPA firms, Guin & Parish of Winfield and Lawler & Cole of Hamilton have combined operations under the firm name Guin & Parish, LLC. The combined firms will continue to operate from their locations in both Winfield and Hamilton with o changes to their current combined staff of 12 employees.

Most notably as part of the deal, Johnny Mack Lawler, CPA, a long-term partner with Lawler & Cole, has now become a partner in Guin & Parish and will continue to serve his many individual and business clients from the firm’s Hamilton office, just as he has done for the past 50 years. Lawyer is currently one of the longest serving active CPAs in the State of Alabama, having originally been certified by the Alabama State Board of Accountancy on January 29, 1970.

Greg Guin, CPA, a partner with Guin & Parish, will continue to serve his clients from the Winfield office as well as maintain regular office hours in Hamilton as the new resident managing partner of the Hamilton office. Paul Parish, CPA, also a partner with the firm, will continue to serve his clients from the Winfield office as the newly appointed resident managing partner of that office.
